The location especially the view of the lake and the exceptionally helpful staff at the front desk.

The view from the rooms in Lake Union is amazing. The staff is very nice and friendly, rooms are clean and big. There is a gym and a pool that is very nice to use. Downtown Seattle is within walking distance.

Everyone was helpful, friendly, without fail.

Construction out front and in nearby area was a major pain, but that is not the hotel's fault. Will be a very nice area when finished.

Although out of the main city centre, there was a very cheap trolley bus straight into the centre about 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel, and the hotel overlooked a really lovely lake. Very big, clean room and extremely comfortable. Pretty good buffet breakfast and a good fitness room.

A tad on the bland side, but as it was only a base for a day of our holiday, it didn't really matter. Also for those people less inclined or able to walk, the distance from the city centre may not be so attractive.

Close to the bay, the Space Needle, and downtown. Fairly easy access to the Interstate. Very nice view of the bay.

Like the privacy parking, but should be free to hotel users.

        Good breakfast buffet,friendly staff.

Construction out front a little irritating & bed was uncomfortable.

I enjoyed the Lake Union park across the street. The view was great and the park was enjoyable. Also, the hotel was near the cruise terminal. We spent the night there the day before we went on a cruise. Also, staff was very helpful in making transportation arrangements for us to get to cruise terminal.

Breakfast buffet was a llittle pricey, but it was very good.

We had a nice room with a city view,it was beautiful at night. We tried to upgrade to a lake union view but were not acconmodated because we booked on line.We stayed three nites and we booked a room for my daughter and son-in-law whom stayed for two nites. So we spent alot of money at this property and thought we could of upgraded. The room was very nice, hotel staff great. The location was superb. We would probably not return. We like a complimentary breakfast and the union view! And paying for parking, thats a real rip-off!All in all it was a good experience but not great!

Beautiful location with a gorgeous view. Convenient location to Seattle center and monorail. Very comfortable room with good coffee included. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, all very convenient. The cordial and knowledgable staff was very helpful in setting up tours and arranging for transportation.

Although we learned how to take public transportation back to the airport the day we left, it would have been nice to have a shuttle service somehow from the airport. The taxi was very expensive. Also, ALL the major construction made it very difficult to walk around the area and it made it very dangerous. But we realize once the construction is finished, it will be an even nicer area.

The breakfast buffet is too expensive, especially when most hotels provide some kind of free breakfast.

Excellent customer service!! Immediate and helpful front line staff. clean room. Cool available ice water in lobby on a hot summer stay was a nice touch. Although a beautiful lake location advertising represented it as a good downtown location which it was not.

It is right across the street from Lake Union and a wonderful boat tour leaves from there.

Had good parking available and near downtown Seattle and not too far from Safeco Field.

Our room had a view of the lake, but that put us near the street and there was lots of traffic noise all night.

We thought the hotel was brand new but were told it has actually been around for a number of years. Very clean, nice decor, restaurant was great for breakfast, bartender was friendly, comfortable atmosphere. And easy accessible parking.

      • Older travelers
        9.2

We loved looking out on Lake Union and watching all the activities that are available within steps of the hotel .Our room's large windows gave us the perfect view. We finally had to cross the street and sign up for a seaplane sightseeing tour----a spectacular trip. The Courtyard is so perfectly located to walk, hop the trolley, or grab a cab to anywhere in downtown Seattle.

Due to all the construction there was a lot of congestion on the street in front of the hotel--of course that will be solved in time Room service trays and pizza boxes were left in the hall for hours. I hate to pay for parking at any hotel but I guess that is just life in the city.
